SaveOptions field

Have you thought about utilizing a SaveOptions field?

If you have a field in the document with a name of "SaveOptions", you can set the following values with you desired effect...
When "SaveOptions" is "0", the user will not be prompted to save the document - in fact, they won't be able to save the document (even if they press Ctrl-S).
When "SaveOptions" is "1", the user will be prompted to save the document as per normal.
When "SaveOptions" is "" (ie, blank), the user won't be prompted to save the document, but they can still save the document if they press Ctrl-S.
